 **Description:**The role of Artworker is to assist the Customer Service team by setting and producing quality artwork templates for our Customers. This is not a graphic design role (you’re not design adaptation but instead creating production art for print) You’ll spend your time preparing accurate artworks from approved designs and briefs ensuring artwork is achievable within print production constraints (maximum colours, minimum font size and line thickness, print margins etc.) **Qualifications****-Proficient in Adobe Illustrator**Relevant experience of artwork creation and manipulation to a high standard with the ability to understand and execute creative direction and instructions. . -It would be great if you had experience of the print industry or working within a similar environment because that would give you experience of building artwork files for multiple print processes – however this isn’t essential-The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced studio setting will help you to plan production to meet timelines. -You must be hard working, demonstrate an ability to be highly productive, be able to manage work flows effectively and used to accurately preparing and checking client originated artwork and layouts for final print**Duties and tasks will include but not be limited to:**-Production of mock artworks to client specification-Processing all customers completed artwork in preparation for printing-Liaising with clients to ensure final artwork is correct -Re-drawing artworks and typesets where necessary-Ensuring final artwork sign off is received-Printing and developing acetate film for production-Ensuring final artwork reaches production on time and to a satisfactory and workable standard-Reformatting and setting artwork templates-Advising customer service on formats and layouts of customers artwork-Occasionally assisting in annual publication of trade catalogue-Occasionally assisting with image formats for company websites
