The Department of Labor and Employment is the primary government agency mandated to promote gainful employment opportunities, develop human resources, protect workers and promote their welfare, and maintain industrial peace.

In line with the celebration of the 123rd Anniversary of the Philippine Independence with the theme “Diwa ng Kalayaan sa Pagkakaisa at Paghilom ng Bayan”, and as it remains true to its commitment of providing decent employment to the Filipinos, DOLE 4A hosted the Kalayaan 2021: Online Trabaho, Negosyo, at Kabuhayan -- an Online Job and Business Fair, on 10 – 12 June 2021 in partnership with Workbank, Inc.
