At the height of the pandemic, this year’s celebration of Independence Day is going virtual and is geared towards the creation and facilitation of more decent jobs and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
With this, DOLE V conducted the 2021 Kalayaan: Online Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) Job & Business Fair and One-Stop-Shop Services on June 11-13, 2021. This year's Independence Day celebration bears the theme 'Diwa ng Kalayaan sa Pagkakaisa at Paghilom ng Bayan'.
The Expanded TNK initiative aims to create decent employment and to promote entrepreneurial which will lead to the reduction of inequality and the acceleration of human capital development. The virtual TNK fair is part of the National Employment Recovery Strategy (NERS) of the government for full economic recovery.
The virtual event will also engage the assistance of the participating agencies for the OneStop-Shop Pre-Employment Documentation and Advisory Services.

Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan (TNK) is an initiative between the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which aims to create decent jobs through the promotion of entrepreneurship. In line with the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022, this partnership envisioned to reduce inequality by accelerating human capital development through the TNK initiative.
Jobs Fair is an employment facilitation strategy aimed to fast-track the meeting of job seekers and employers/overseas recruitment agencies in one venue at a specific date to reduce cost, time, and effort particularly on the part of the applicants.

Kabuhayan Program is the DOLE’s contribution to the governments’ agenda of inclusive growth through massive job generation and substantial poverty reduction. It seeks to reduce the vulnerability to risks of the poor, vulnerable and marginalized workers by providing them access to a grant assistance for capacity-building on livelihood ventures either for individual or group undertakings.
Welcome to DOLE Bicol's Independence Day Job Fair! This is open to all unemployed, skilled and unskilled workers, fresh college graduates, graduates of training institutions, displaced workers and employees seeking advancement.
During the Jobs Fair, applicants select vacancies suited to their qualifications and employers could interview and hire on the spot qualified workers. Several agencies are invited to provide self-employed and training assistance.
